Brakes

Think all brake jobs are the same? Think again.

When servicing your brakes, cheap is not good. Brake pad replacement is not a brake job and failure to properly inspect the whole system can lead to greater problems and expense. At Mike’s we have trained and certified mechanics to inspect and service your whole brake system.

Don't be tempted by the cheap one price brake jobs you see advertised. Ask around, they almost always end up costing more, sometimes a lot more. At Mike's there are no gimmicks, no counterfeit parts, and no bait and switch. We do the job right. And often for less than the cheap guys.

Why get a brake inspection

Brakes are designed to wear. Regular inspections and replacement of the worn parts as required is part of routine vehicle maintenance.

Your owner's manual probably even requires it to maintain your vehicle warranty. Failure to replace the worn parts when required will lead to damage and replacement of the more expensive parts of the brake system.

Do the minor repairs when it's time, or spend a lot more money later that you could have avoided.

Our technicians can help you identify the source of your squeals.

Special issues

Anti-lock braking systems (ABS) with computer-controlled components are common in today's cars. Our technicians are experts in the special servicing required for these systems.
